A Soho Legend Since 1959

For more than six decades, Ronnie Scott’s has been at the centre of London’s jazz scene. Famous worldwide, the club is where the great and the good of jazz - and its rising stars - meet the city’s most passionate audiences.

Founded in 1959 by saxophonists Ronnie Scott and Pete King, Ronnie's was the first UK club to host American jazz musicians regularly. From Miles Davis, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald and Chet Baker to Jimi Hendrix, Prince, and Amy Winehouse, some of the world’s greatest artists have played on our stage.

Six decades of musical heritage and a touch of old-school Soho charm keep audiences returning night after night.

The best jazz club of them all.

Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club

Step inside 47 Frith Street and you will find one of the most intimate live music venues in the world. With low lighting and a close-up view from every angle, the club feels like the artist is playing just for you.

An evening at Ronnie’s is designed for live music. Guests are seated at tables, with food and drinks available throughout the performance. This is a room where the emphasis is always on the musicians, an environment geared towards bringing audiences as close as possible to the music.

The programme spans the full spectrum of jazz and beyond, from established legends to the bold new voices shaping the future of the genre. With at least two shows a night, exceptional dining, and a welcoming atmosphere, our main room offers a live music experience that’s uniquely Ronnie’s.

Upstairs at Ronnie’s

A new chapter begins at Ronnie Scott’s. Following a major transformation, the reimagined Upstairs at Ronnie’s is a 140-capacity live music venue above the main club. The room features purpose-built acoustics, Yamaha and D&B Audio systems, a Yamaha S3X grand piano, and a new kitchen led by Executive Chef Steven Connolly.

With its striking design and bespoke, intimate layout, the space brings audiences closer to the music than ever before, offering comfortable, stylish surroundings for dining, drinks and live performance. Come and experience what we hope to be the greatest small live music venue in the world (or at least Soho).

The Greene Rooms

Opening in 2027.

Hidden above the main club, The Greene Rooms will be our backstage, members-only lounge and artist space that opens up the behind-the-scenes world of Ronnie Scott’s for the first time.

Designed as a modern tribute to old Soho, the space offers an intimate setting for conversation, cocktails, and private performances.
